ZOOM
Zoom surge de experimentar con materiales y de utilizar una técnica de otra manera, usando un sistema de generación de imágenes a partir de fragmentar y aislar. Representaciones figurativas unidas entre si por una cualidad: lo mínimo. Para Zoom pensé utilizar imágenes como los accidentes generados por un cutter en la superficie de mi mesa de trabajo, residuos de cinta adhesiva pegados en ventanas, manchas encontradas en el pavimento, huellas, etc. Por el proceso productivo y por la manera diferente de utilizar la técnica, surge la interrogante: ¿es gráfica? pues ésta es desbordada y se sale de su rol. No existe edición, solamente piezas únicas que se soportan en materiales no tradicionales como un muro.

Zoom arises from experimenting with materials and of using a technique in a different way, using a system of creation of images starting from fragmentation and isolation, figurative representations united by one quality: the minimal. For Zoom I thought of using images like the accidents created by a cutter on the surface of my worktable, pieces of adhesive tape stuck to windows, stains found on the pavement, footprints, etc. Despite the production process and the different manner in utilizing this technique, the question arises: Is it graphic? because it goes beyond its role. There are no batches, just unique pieces which their support is a non-traditional material as a wall.
